Jadunath Sakar the versatile historian delivered six lectures on Nadir Shah in 1922. These were composed and rearranged in three chapters taking the shape of this work. First chapter examines the internal condition of India in 1738 and rise and progress of Nadir Shah. Second chapter covers capture of Peshawar and Lahore the invasion of India. The last chapter deals with Nadir Shah in Delhi and state of India after Nadir Shah’s departure. This small and handy work is a marvelous piece of research on Nadir’s adventure in India.
