About Ruskin Bond
Ruskin Bond is an Indian author of British origin. He has been writing for over sixty years now and has more than 120 titles in print novels, poetry, essays and books for children. Room on the Roof was his first novel, which received the prestigious John Llewellyn Rhys Prize in 1957. He has also been honored with the Padma Shri In 2012, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Delhi government.
