The book is a compilation of selected papers presented at the International conference organized by the Media Research Centre on the theme of communication policy and strategy for development. The chapters of the book comprise of ancient communication policy of Bharatavarsha to the modern-day digital methods of communication. The chapters also raise pertinent questions regarding whether a unified communication policy is possible for India? Discussions have also centred on social inclusion, children, education, human development, behavioural change to mention a few.
